Well that is a matter of opinion and preferences. I'm not sitting here trying to sell EA and BF4. I understand there are many who don't like BF3 for what it is and will probably not like BF4 for what it is. That's fine and totally their right to speak their opinion. I can honestly say that I enjoy BF3 as much as I did BF2 and BF2142. Of course the teamplay aspect can't come close to touching what those two games had, but everything else...is better imo.
I didn't mean for my "pwned" remark to be a jab at people who aren't good at the game. If anything the Battlefield franchise proves that you don't have to have an amazing KDR to help your team, especially the way TPG plays. I see many a post talking about people who sat behind a tank repairing it, letting the driver and gunner rack up kills, for the good of the team. That's TPG style and it's great. Though I do know there are people out there that play a game and don't succeed in it as they wish to and thus think the game is bad.
We already know what BF4 is going to be. It's going to be BF3 with new maps, new vehicles, new weapons, some cool new features and that's it. So if you didn't like BF3 then you probably aren't going to like BF4. Unless you really think Commander and Voip are the sole reasons that BF3 wasn't a good game. Even with those two features, some people will just not enjoy BF4.

So are they going to allow players to buy all the unlocks? I thought that was pretty weak that EA did that with BF3. Players that could not afford or were not willing to pay for the "shortcut bundle" were put at disadvantage against players that did pay the extra cash.

I am not impressed ....at all.
The whole thing was staged and looked not as nice as they wanted us to beleive. I bet that those Pre-Orders sky rocketed after the show.
Will buy it from the bargain bin for a 4€ a year after release,it is all i want to give and all that they deserve.

Re: EA at E3 Streaming Live right now. BF4
I have a bridge i'll sell for REAL cheap!
I mean come on, some of you are just who the marketing gurus at every company out there want their commercials in front of. There isn't going to be VOIP, i seriously doubt we'll ever see it back with the increase in graphics, game mechanics, environmental engagement, etc...The bandwidth required to support this is astronomical. I work in telecom specifically with SIP and other voice/data communications and it's crazy the amount of bandwidth required even with the shitty codecs. Being my own devils advocate, it almost doesn't make sense that other games series, COD, etc...still support this feature. What makes it different though? Is Battlefield dynamics really that different and more resource intensive? If it is, is it because EA/DICE have no clue on how to streamline? Do they just not have the expertise on how to integrate or develop a way to incorporate a truly, robust functional VOIP feature into their game?
Like most skeptics on here so far, I'll wait. I'm not jumping the bandwagon, fanboi train again and be ankle grabbing again. That'd be 3 times...i got bite by BC2, then BF3...it's not happening with BF4. Pretty graphics and expertly pieced together campaign/co-op play isn't going to win me over. The commander portion of the Multiplayer scenes that you see when dude is in the tower looking down is the same exact video feed shown with the chick in the airport....same exact commander call for tomahawk and same target same place destroyed.

I watched their live on-stage demo and the guy they were following said something along the lines of "move in on C, this is your Commander. That's an order".
It sure sounded like it could have been VOIP, though I could be mistaken. Guess we'll have to wait, as others have said

well here is the thing about E3 its all staged and all scripted and anyone who is surprised by this shouldn't be. not only do you get tons of info and exciting reveals you also get left wanting more every time so the fact that voip is still not confirmed isn't much of a surprise to me.

Right so in a few hours they will be live streaming unscripted multiplayer. Here's the link and lets hope some of our questions will be answered.

Hmm, a very simple reason to wait even if they deliver everything the promise, premium. The pre order right now is for the core game to my knowledge. Now, while I don't get on the X pack maps all that often I still pissed at buying the game only to buy the game again. Wait, buy premo at a redused price and hopefully we will have a great battlefield game.
Also, snipers seem to have the C4 now.
Idk, like it being with the support kit, c4 and an ammo bag, good. Atleast when I'm the with the c4.Dispatch the DooM
