What about minimap markers for the SL to assigned the squad any flag to move/attack/defend. Is that in the game.

I agree with Tenrou in a way - HC is very different - I find as a mediocre player I can dominate much easier in HC, the getting the jump on a squad is insta death for them pretty much. In vanilla I actually have to do the aiming skills Tenrou showed me, and its exhausting. Vanilla makes for cheaper kills too though (doritos) and the icing on the cake is anyone can spawn on any squad mate. Vanilla is as fun as HC. I'll play either.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Battlelog VoIP what is currently in BF3? The same party system VoIP that we all pretty much unanimously agree is non-functional for teamplay purposes? The same VoIP system that we do not use, didn't want and have replace with TS_Sync?

If the devs posting on the Twitter are Battlelog devs and they are saying that VoIP is in, isn't it possible (highly likely even) that the VoIP they are referring to is the same Battlelog VoIP in BF3 and therefore useless to us for the purpose we need?

Agreed, with previous posts, tweets and other forms of them leading us on I am still a little skeptic until I play the demo.

At this point they have said it will be in game. I believe the paraphrased quote was join game and speak with your squad. That means it will either work, or if it doesn't there are no excuses available that there is VoIP, just not like we expected because they never said what to expect. The expectations are set, and time will tell if they are met.

Doing VOIP through battlelog could work just fine and is in fact what I expect. I just expect them to change it so when you join a server through battlelog it forms a group for voip with your squadmates.

Similar to what MWO does.
