To be honest Alundil, my response to your question had no intent to be an asshole. It was more of a 'sigh I already posted this, but I'll post it again for you'. I really wasn't that aggravated at all. It took me 1 minute to go back to that link and quote the responses pertaining to your question. Going off your responses from previous posts I added the 'you'll probably disregard' comment, because as you and many others have already said you're waiting for hands on evidence of VOIP and some BattleLog Producer isn't going to sway your opinion. Is that not the truth?
You took my post as negative as you possibly could, probably based off my previous forum behavior, and posted some hot shot response getting all upset.gehn liked this post

This is all great and all, and kind of a step in the right direction... But why can't they make it to where you can communicate to EVERYBODY on your team, instead of being limited to just being able to communicate to those just in your squad?
What if I want to warn another player (not in my squad) or a different squad that they have enemies progressing towards their flag/objective? Or relay a sniper position to a different squad?
It just doesn't make sense to me.

In all honesty one of things i disliked the most about bf3 is no voip. Then we made our own setup which was cool to do but i found it very annoying to have people telling to get into the chat then even more annoying to have everyone talking. Shit i left squads in bf2 when 1 person wont shut up.

He said why in the video and many times in our own discussions on the matter. We simply would just have to many people talking at one time. That would of course be fixed by arma style of VOIP but the maps in BF4 would still be to small and you would probably end up with the same problem. I think squad chat is just fine for BF4 especially when it is exactly what we use in BF3 today.
