TPG's BF3 with CQ?

The thing is Blonde, we TRIED these maps when it was 'hot' when the DLC first came out. The complaints were, it was hard to prime the server with the maps and the maps kinda sucked.

If our regs aren't willing to prime on the maps (which seemed to be the case previously), the server never fills it. It'll sit idle until we get some asses in the seat playing.

I understand. I hope that we continue to try new things no matter what the regular population says. If it creates more teamplayers and populates our servers, that's all that should matter. All the other concerns will follow. We have the foundation in place to regulate any type of server by our TPG standards. That's what we have admins for and if we don't have admins that want to enforce our rules, then we need to hire new ones who will.

I'm always down to try new things with BF3. Population has gone down a bit, I'm sure once summer vacation begins, it will be filled more.

Well if all the rumors are true and EA follows through with everything they've said, then we have no excuse for our BF4 server not being populated all day and night.

The thing that sucks is that I keep wanting to post that we need to ensure we prevent the server from dying out along the road, but that fact is inevitable because EA is going to be creating a new Battlefield game every year or two. Voip is key. Promoting our community to the server population is key. We know there are teamplayers out there, just have to give them the bait.

I suspect that once BF4 comes out, we'll quickly kill our BF3 server... since the people still playing BF3 are more likely to go to BF4 than stay with BF3...

Only seems logical. I didn't get a chance to play on our servers when BF3 first released. How many servers did we have? If we had more then one were they all Conquest Large? What are the chances we could do a Rush only TPG style server?

"Push the Objectives!!!" It's the simpliest form or teamplay in the game. You either rush or defend. Very simple to pick out people not helping the team. Every time I join a rush server all I see in chat are people complaining about players not pushing the objectives. It's one of the more popular modes of Battlefield also.
