    I get 70ish ping in the L4D2 servers, so I don't know what the issue with BF3 is.....

    Also, have you ever considered one of those routers that prioritizes game traffic over other types like file downloads/youtube/etc? I have a friend that had to take that option with his roommates in college and it worked out rather well for him.. his friend's in particular didn't know any better and his game-play was a big improvement he had said

    I don't know who told you this but from my understanding of modern networking engines someones lag should only affect the person lagging and anyone shooting the person lagging. Not a person not lagging shooting a person not lagging. Games haven't been using networking like you are talking about since the Quake 2 days.

    I still find plenty of instances where from my perspective I'm behind a wall and I died, happens on a daily basis. But its been documented plenty by users that its an issue with battlefields motion prediction being terrible and that is going to affect anyone no matter their ping or lag.
