The priming rotation is heavy on the smaller maps, because it's what fills the server up. Nothing like being 12v12 and one of the larger conquest maps comes up like Firestorm. Those rounds drag on too long and end up forcing people to leave. Once we hit 32 players, it goes to the full 11 map rotation in large conquest format.

Re: Done with B2K?
This old chestnut again. I consider BF3 to be a lost cause by now for us to be one of those servers that is always full. But lets make sure we get it right for BF4 huh? Assuming TPG does BF4.
I think the best way to do that is going to be:
Making sure there is a server running on launch day. I'd hope the determination on if TPG will have a server is made BEFORE beta ends.
Deciding, no matter how quick join is or isn't setup, what kind of server TPG wants to be a sticking with it.
TeamPlayer server, check.
large maps? change between small and large maps for priming (this could be one of the reasons TPG isn't as popular. I don't know why but just maybe)
Will support every expansion that follows the TPG style of gameplay.
Anything else.
Just like any other product TPG needs to know what demographic we are trying to attract. Is it going to be the lowest common denominator quick match people who we have no reason to believe that isn't what they do day in and day out just to get into a game fast. Is it going to be vanilla map people or expansion people? Is it going to be people who take the time to find the specific type of server they want and actually READS the server name to see if it matches their desires?
Then the most important part is sticking to it. No flipping back and forth. And don't say it can't be done because it is being done.
In fact, why don't we find out how everyone here found TPG or whatever game you first played when you came here?
I'll go first.
I joined TPG back when DoD:Source was more active. When I look for servers for any sorta game I like medium sized servers. For DoD:S that would have meant about 24 players would be my style. So I got on the server browser and did a search. I'm positive that the dod server would have caught my eye because it had team in the name, at the time texasteamplayers i believe? I joined and people seemed to be having a good time and working together so I stuck around. Eventually I started playing BF3. While I'm not a 64 player fan as I said I figured I'd support ya by playing on the server still. Usually you will find me playing when the player count is low though, trying to prime for ya. Once the server gets to the large instance I usually end up leaving since it isn't my play style. But I still enjoy the times I'm on (I also love rush and I only get that on TPG when server count is low).
I can imagine how I would have found TPG if I wasn't already around for DoD:S. I would have started battlelog, set the player count to 24 and 32 players, North America, hardcore, and did a search. Then read the names of the servers I searched on. I would have seen the name of the server has team in it and that you use teamspeak to coordinate.
