Someone quick - tell EA/DICE that this is not an impossible feature. If a developer of a niche product with relatively low market capitalization in their respective genre can create such a thing then surely EA/DICE with all of the resources at their disposal can surely do something comparable.

I'm quite sure EA/DICE know this as a possible feature. After all DICE created it a while back with other products.

The issue is:

How do you get the most out of your product/franchise?
How do you make sure your features are solid at launch?
How do you keep making the series new?

The answer to all the above questions, EA.
How does EA answer all the above questions? One simple answer, 'Don't put all your eggs in one basket'.
