Re: BF4: Paracel Storm Gameplay
I'd like to know who thought giving me C4 was a good idea.

Recon looks like a slightly more diverse class to play. I laughed my ass off at the bugged USAS-12 with the Holo though. If that makes it into the release, I won't be buying for that alone.

Bunch of gaming snobs around here. The best part is the people who will have decided not to play BF4, but still want to come into the forums and shit on the game.

You know that these are forums, right? A forum is a place to voice opinion, and we're free to do so. I maintain my skepticism. I want to believe BF4 is going to be good, but track records are tough to break, especially for a company like EA.
I've been playing the OLD Bioware games (Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR I and II, Jade Empire) as of late. Those games are actually good with great stories to them. Ever since EA started publishing their games (Mass Effect era and beyond) their quality has slowly slid downhill. EA has shown time and again that they're not concerned about the community, only about deadlines and profit margins. The only reason they make a game good is that good games sell. They appeal to the lowest common denominator like Activision did with Call of Duty. They're making a lot of money on it, but lowering its quality as they go.
You can choose to ignore the evidence that's before you and pre-purchase Battlefield 4 if that's your wish. It's not my job, and it's not anyone else's job here, to tell you what you can and can't do. I made my comment because I found the bug to be hilarious, yet representative of the lack of effort shown recently for the Battlefield series.
If there's nothing left constructive to say, which I was trying to do, then I suggest we forget this thread exists.Kill8ox liked this post

I don't think anyone has flat out said they aren't buying the game. There's a lot of us who are undecided because we were unhappy with the last several products DICE released. Things SOUND like they're headed in the right direction, but the same thing could be said about BF3 at this same point in time 2 years ago..

There are just as many fanbois out there who will buy anything EA shits out. It's those mindless sheep who have created the monster that is EA. "EA made it? I'm in!" Nevermind the fact that their last several Battlefield releases have had major shortcomings. Is it a good game? Sure. Is it as good a game as BF2/2142? From a gameplay aspect, I say no. Is it a beautiful game graphically. It has some nice features. It's missing huge gameplay elements that made the earlier titles in the Battlefield series great.
