Yes i down loaded beta and played for 2is hours last night. Jury is still out.

In all seriousness... I used to use numpad/arrow keys until I really got tired of having to remap my keys in every game. I find using WASD is more comfortable as well so that my hands are farther apart... It's a more natural position.

I like the spacing between the arrow keys and all other keys I use, and yeah when I game, the keyboard gets shifted to the left basically placing the arrow keys where WASD used to be. Luckily I have a wide desk.

Very glad to see another patch. I was avging 30-35fps and sometimes single digits in firefights. Hopefully this will give me a fighting chance in those "duel" situations that Im constantly losing.

Wah, I'm getting the endless load screen myself. Starts in windowed mode, get the cool scrolling description of the game modes, then to the black loading screen with game noises. Eventually windows gives up after 4-5 minutes.
Have latest graphics drivers and just downloaded the beta today (so there shouldn't be any updates needed, right?)

Off to other game land. Will play with it tomorrow to see what I can do....

Manually install punkbuster. Fixed it for me

Bleh, Im crashing after every "map change" now after the latest update.

I can't decided if I like this or not. It nice to have to VOIP back but over the game feels dry and unambitious. Just another assembly line game. Maybe its the map or the fact that I'm not used to it. But this is the kinda the same problem I had with bf3. Just another shooter with not much special about it. Maybe with better maps and commander I'll be more interested

i can totally understand this sentiment. I am going against nature and remaining postie that more maps/patches will provide what's missing so far.

What exactly are your expectations for a MP shooter than? I've heard your argument plenty before but I'd like to know what you consider to be a game that did it right. Also, what exactly about the maps seems so generic to you? I just can't comprehend that besides it being just trolling.

BF2 for me.
I want those large maps with transport copters that have somewhere to go. That's all I can think of atm I need to see from BF4 (assuming commander works and is in at launch.), and I'm hoping to see that in other maps.

Too funny, my gripe about bf2 was you'd fly drive or walk way too long, but I agree, I'd love to see transport choppers king of the maps again... Jets should be interesting are they bringing back bombs?
