This. When I play the BF2 maps in BF3 it feels like I'm playing BF2, but with better graphics and minus VOIP and Commander. If BF2 was re-made today with the only upgrade being graphics, I'm guessing some people would also call that an assembly line game.

I've said this before, but BF2 is never going to be out beaten. It was a game like non other and ahead of it's time. Because of that sole fact many are never going to be able to say another game is better. In order for us to say a game is better than BF2, that game would have to expand exponentially on what BF2 accomplished. BF3 and BF4 expanded, but more on a graphical level.

You are never going to enjoy a sequel to BF2 if you're always comparing every detail. The Beta map is small compared to BF2 and 2142 maps, but that doesn't mean it's not a large map. The map is huge vertically with all the skyscrapers. I have yet to even check out the sea gameplay. You could probably spend the whole map defending the seaway.

Oh and Arrows keys all the way.

Like I said, I used to use arrow keys until WASD became the standard. I got tired of remapping my keys for every game. I was PC gaming long before a lot of people here. I got my first PC in 1985.
