I've always wondered about this so mind as well ask it here, but many believe L4D2 VOIP has a couple second delay from when a person says something to when another player hears it. Not only are there obvious delays in-game, but when you are double bound you hear the person talk from Mumble and then two seconds later you hear them in-game. Is that a logical assumption? A two second delay of a call in L4D can cost your team, hence why I enjoy using mumble/ts when possible.
I never noticed a problem, but I haven't played L4D2 in a good while. I also can't find any mention of latency issues with in game VOIP for L4D. There could be a server side issue due to server settings if all of the players are experiencing it though.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P

Only ones needed are for the Admin TS3 server. From what I saw watching my roommate play, there was too much going on screen to try and use an admin chat-like feature.

P.S. My roommate can't run Bf4 on his laptop (he's still saving up for a rig). So, he was playing on his Xbox. He ended up not using his headset for sound or VOIP due to all of the raging little prepubescents screaming, "Noob." It also looked like Minecraft on his console. Not even kidding. After the tower fell (each time), there were major issues with objects and players loading on each others' screens. Not from, say, 100m away, but from as little as 10m. I loled, and showed him videos of what it was like on the PC.

To allow people to 'connect' and get to a common server. To discuss performance problems they're having. At launch, these channels will go away.

I'll Be the first to tell you to Bind a Push To Talk key.

    Or

I'll ask if your mom/wife/sister/girlfriend wants to play, cause she keeps activating your mic.

    PTT is Crucial.
My Squad will be PTT only.

Just gettin that out now, providing VOIP is still in on release........(fingers crossed)

Also, No need for Iamjohnnyteamswitch, but if he makes it back I'll kick some ass all the same. LOL
