Re: Obliteration Mode
It is an interesting mode. It requires a lot of teamwork. I played a few rounds of it last night and got slaughtered most of those rounds. My team just didn't seem to give 2 shits about the bomb and were on roofs. There were 2 squads on the high roof between D and E. On a 16 vs 16, it is tough to get things going when half of your teams is essentially doing nothing but padding their k/d. It wouldn't of been so bad if they were actually lasing targets. Or, if they were bailing out of the choppers to get on roof tops to where the other team would steal our choppers. At one point they had all 4 choppers.
Me and Pote were going after the bomb and we did get one blown up by ourselves. But, it is very frustrating when you are the only ones against 2 squads of people working the bomb. I think it can be a good mode if both teams are working the bomb. If not, it can become very frustrating.

Considering the average length of a match is one hour, I never got to finish a match as my game isn't stable enough. I joined in on you guys (WileE, Tenrou, friends), but I got put on the other team. My team wasn't bad, but they seemed clueless that vehicles are the key to delivering the bomb to an objective. The two times that I used a vehicle, I delivered myself to a bomb site, and I delivered a teammate to a bomb site.
It definitely requires more teamwork than Rush, but not as much coordination as Conquest. I found that the mode tends to stall for about 20 minutes where the bomb keeps trading hands back and forth in the center. That's where I started thinking, "there better be a time limit for this, or else this'll never end". It was up to my computer crashing and your good teamwork that probably won that round."In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."
