Quick and easy way to get some more FPS in BF4 via Xfactor

Now I know some of you guys are tech wizards and have probably done this before but some of us are not lol. Anyways CPU parking. It is bad for your performance. Don't know what that is well I will let Xfactor explain.

SOME cpus do that. And some don't do it unless it's set in bios... And all cores are available to windows if it's needed. Which means that if the software needs more, windows is going to release the parked cores to use. It's unlikely you are going to see any change by unparking.

Um Wow... That's all I gotta say. Great find Source. Went from 40-50 frames a second to 60-75 frames a second on all high settings.

Intel i7's are the only ones affected by core parking. All the newer AMD processors based on Bulldozer, Piledriver, etc are affected.

yah i had 3 cores parked and i saw a 10 fps jump which is huge when i unparked mine

Ill have to try this tonight. I have i7. I took a couple videos last night of my gameplay from my phone

I did the unparking and set up his settings he has in another video. Stopped crashing.

I am using this...maybe it will help. It also has a fps monitor.

I used it last night and it does a pretty good job, it automatically takes the place of msconfig along with other settings with a simple on or off button, it's free but you do have to register to use it.
