Thread: As much as I like BF4, I hate it.

Much appreciated Party. I had 3-4 AMD drivers still on my system from my previous AMD card. Even though this may just help a tad in BF4, it's nice having a clean system.

The other thing Driver Sweeper does is removes all remnants in the registry and everything else. The uninstallers for most drivers don't cleanly uninstall everything.

In all honesty, I had a hard time getting into this game because I had the first assault weapon. It took me 5-6 hits before someone was dead, but 2-3 hits before I was dead. Then I unlocked the SCAR and GOD DAMN that gun was terrible. Now that I've unlocked the M416 with the reflex sight, I've been addicted. Been playing all day.

Just stick to it. The crashing issues will be resolved soon enough.

Also, disable your AV, when you're using Driver Sweeper.

This game is fun, no doubt, but has the same meh feeling as bf3. It feels like bf3.5, its a good game and if you take it part by part, its much better then bf2. Maybe I'm just bored with shooters, maybe I'm being nostalgic but its still feels like just another assembly line game, buy it, buy or rip off dlcs/premium to keep you interest for a another 12-18 months are forget about it. The problem I have is that there's nothing really special about bf4, yes there is destruction, and commander mode is back, but those are both old news. It lacks the wow factor of playing with a team on bf2 for the first time, or playing titan mode on 2142.

It just a decent game, not bad, but not great. It plays fine but feels unambitious, nothing new or exciting about it.
