The real reason the simultaneous kill is so common.
It's a glitch! I have a few vids here and I will let them explain but man this is more weird than the M26 Dart was for BF3. The first one is a video by Jackfrags explaining in depth what is going on and the second is a frame by frame example of this glitch happening in live game play.

Yeah read this on reddit. I thought was lag but we really are getting one shot killed. Seems totally random as how many bullets it will take to die. I bet this happening on more than just headshots. I've been one shot killed by IFV round but then other times take 2-3 and I'm not talking about direct hits.

Good to see that people have been doing fairly empirical tests about this. The instant kill thing is pretty strange, and I'm glad Jack's gone ahead and analyzed it. It explains a lot of other "bugs" like the simultaneous kill.
Though a note on the simultaneous kill: just because someone is dead on your screen doesn't mean they're dead on their screen. They can still get out 4 bullets in the time it takes the server to sync clients and tell you you're dead. If the double-hit bug, or the instant kill bug kicks in, even two of those bullets can be fatal.
If DICE pays attention to these videos, I wonder what their response will be."In matters of style, swim with the currents... in matters of principle, stand like a rock."

Good grief ... If I shoot you in the head you are either dead or unable to do much more than babble like a child. Sure it can be "irritating" getting jacked by a hs that "shouldn't" have happened or if you get a simultaneous kill/death ... so what, it happens. If I get shot in the head in game I don't expect to survive (unless of course someone with paddles is around to insta heal my head wound) .... *beware the friendly hint of sarcasm!*Last edited by Amador +JP2+; 11-22-13 at 05:06 PM. Next thing you know, Rhys will claim that I shouldn't have been able to counter his knife attempt the other day! ... and post a frame by frame video explanation of how he knifed me before I countered

Leave my "multi kills and deaths" alone.

I don't know if anyone told you this bro but it's a fucking video game. It ain't real life so stop injecting real life into it. Head shots from those weapons should deal 50 damage at that range not 100. The game isn't playing by its own rules. I expect consistency from my FPS games not random roll of the dice bullshit.
Next time they should go all real life just for you Amador. When you get head shot killed or killed by armor your game uninstalls and you need buy another copy of the game. Your dead bro there no coming back for you.
Lets not forget getting knifed in BF4 means your un-revive`able. Yet I can get blown up by tank shell and be revived no problem. Yet people like you will talk about realism in battlefield. It's an arcade shooter first and foremost.
