Thread: The team Kill Kick

One issue is that people need to learn how to ease up on the trigger overall. I only fire when my sights are on a target. If I'm going to suppress someone's position, I'm going to make damn sure it's from a good distance away and that my line of fire is clear of targets. I will NEVER suppress a position on a map as tight as Operation Locker - it's always more effective to push down the corridor, since your enemies aren't expecting you to do that.

A general note for pushing down corridors: don't watch the corner around the wall you're moving up on, watch the opposite corner. Not only will you see targets better and faster at a diagonal, you don't end up with having to shoot through teammates. Oh, and never, EVER EVER EVER block a doorway. Either use the lean mechanic (which doesn't block doorways, but allows you to fire through them), or get on the other side of the doorway.

Firing blindly, or firing at an area where enemies could be is a surefire way to get teammates killed. All it takes is a little trigger discipline to get used to only shooting when you can see and hit your target.

I think the team damage/kill message should appear when you damage/kill Teammates. I'm sure I've killed 10 x the amount of friendlies I"m aware of.

I think that's a dice thing, but it would sure be helpful to avoid kills, if not fatalities.

NOOB QUESTION! How do you use the lean function? I've done it a few times by accident but can't repeat how I did it.

You need to be up against the corner (edge) of a surface. You will see your gun tilt to the side just a bit when you're in the right spot, then just right click.

You can not get blood from a carrot Wile. Just because this is a game does not mean you have to throw out your close Quarter lesson from the gun range. When you CLEARLY see somebody shooting and you get in front of him for your selfish needs to get points? Honestly? Bullets do not curve left or right within a 25 meter distance. Why on earth should the gunner be punished because an asshole is to lazy to check his minimap? Not even talking about the tracers being sent down the hallway. One more thing about this rant. We all had those nights/days where we were just dirt awful. Eight is kinda pushing it but I remember in the long Battlefield series where I accidentally Tked more than that simply because children did not understand that there are other people playing this game besides them.
