My goal is to succeed in any mission - and live to succeed again.
God grant that I may not be found wanting, that I will not fail this sacred trust.

Re: So i got called out for not using my mic??
I play full combat medic right now due to server settings. Paddles, med hub and combat medic spec. If playing on the new server they are talking about normal settings means people will regen health over time so med hub will not be as useful. I can swap that out and carry an assault combat perk instead. I will still carry rez paddles regardless. I wish the game would regen ammo over time like it does life on normal. I get tired of screaming for ammo when I am playing anti air engineer.

Yes the ones you get first are single use and disappear once someone rolls over them. The hub stays around and heals everyone in range. In normal mode you regen health over time so most people will not take the time to stay near a hub to heal.

Actually this is one reason why I prefer classic. I like playing assault class as a full medic with medic bags/packs and paddles. Same with engineers and torches.

That would be a .............. oh, right, not getting slapped.
I must admit that I hung around back in the last year or so of the BF2 server out of shear stubbornness. I got kicked out of a lot of squads but it seemed to me that the SL's were just making room for friend and I was the noob who was playing his first FPS on a computer. Then after a while I saw what some of the regs meant by teamwork and how much fun it was. I didn't even know TPG (or then TTP) had a website until I started searching forums during the BF3 pre-release.

Re: So i got called out for not using my mic??
My BF4 name is KlasiK116 just for the record. As one might tell from my join date and the number of posts I have made I do not spend a lot of time in the forums; never have never will. I came here trying to find some resemblance of what I use to experience a long time ago playing BF2 on the TTP server. I am very old school and have been playing a lot of BF4 skipping BF3 completely and every single time I join which has been plenty of times no one talks on the mic, every time I say anything everyone ignores me so this time after about 10 times speaking that's when all of this crap started. I just don't see the old TTP spirit in the servers anymore. I miss playing with guys like Kelderos, MaBell, trigger, saltz. I even recognized some people posting in this thread, been awhile ranger and civil how ya two doing? But to the point I got some friends who play and I invited them to the "new" TPG server and its just not the same. So for what its worth I had the best BF2 games on the TTP and i'm really going to miss it. I might try stopping in again sometime with some buddies but everything has changed. That's my two cents on the incident.

BF4 is a lot different from BF2, but we'll get it in shape I think.
Bear with us; lead the lost or join the leaders for the best experience, imo
To be honest I prefer to follow, but if all else fails, lead your squad and report any issues/refusals to the admins. The ban forums are still hoppin"The bravery of idiots is bravery none the less."

I too prefer to follow rather than lead. Unfortunately I have had to do so regularly in bf4. We have to shape these people back into the fighting force we had in bf2 days a and that takes some tough love.
