The Rush/Oblit server has been converted back to only Rush & Obliteration maps and was converted from Custom settings to Normal mode to see if we can make it a little easier to prime. It's purely an experiment at this point, but we need to do something to get more activity on that server or it will go away.
So right now, it's Normal Mode settings and vanilla maps only.

We decided against it. Running the CR maps on the Main server made it much harder to prime. They were pulled, and the server was full in minutes. Since we are trying to boost the population of the Rush/Oblit server, starting it out behind the eight ball wasn't the best plan.
I want the CR maps too, but what is best for TPG comes first. Keeping the CR maps out of the rotations, unfortunately, is what puts more butts in seats.

I bet not.
We watched a less than half full server go to completely full in under an hour on a Friday night, after we pulled the CR maps. I don't like it either, but it's fact. I want nothing more than to be able to run the CR maps, but it kills population. And we can thank EA. Instead of booting the player when a map that player doesn't have comes up in the rotation ( like BF2 and 2142), it locks the player out of the server completely if they don't have EVERY map in the rotation......thus killing population. I am willing to bet that now that everyone has opened their BF4 Vanilla Christmas presents, it would be even worse.
