I prefer the Ace 23 to the M416 at this point.

The AK-12 is a monster of an all-around rifle, people just don't know it. The first two shots to come out are 750 RPM, then all other shots in that same trigger pull are at 650 RPM. It's very accurate even in its stock configuration with low recoil and balanced muzzle drift. For assault, the HK416 and Ace 23 are the two weapons you want to get as soon as possible.

The MX4 is a pain in the ass. I would just power through that thing until you get the AK 5C, which will forever replace any and all kit weapons except assault rifles. None of the PDWs are worth using seriously, but of the Carbines, the AK 5C is the only one you need for any and all purposes.

The U-100 is a long range laser rifle, but being the slowest firing automatic weapon in the game paired with a normal damage model makes it a pain at closer ranges. Of the LMGs, I find the QBB-95-1 to be an absolute monster. High bullet speed, tame recoil, better hip fire than the rest, and an 80 round drum with good reload speed. An all around winner. Otherwise the LSAT is the next go-to LMG.

Just remember: the higher the rate of fire, the higher the base recoil. High base recoil + high rate of fire = bad for range. If you're on a large map, don't try to use an AEK on it, you'll never win against an AK-12 or QBZ-95-1.
