Thread: Low recoil guns... help! Cant kill like bf3.

I have a sar 21 with 100% stability. That is the most important factor to me. Feels like good old 2142

Aim your gun at me ... your hit % will improve significantly (especially if you are in my squad!). I am a bullet magnet.

I have been using the Scar-H in assault since day one (or whenever I unlocked it as I think it was the first unlock)... Last night I switched to the Ace 23, and thinking since it was a lower damage round that it was going to suck in comparison I was prepared to switch right back to the scar... Nope, the increased fire rate and less recoil, even with iron sights, is allowing me to hit people further away and more often. I think I've been handicapping myself for quite a while now.

So now I'm using Scar 23 with foregrip, compensator and JGM-4. Soon as I unlock it I'll throw some canted iron sights on it as well. Never using lasers or flashlights again. Those just give away your position more than they help I think.

Similar here. I used the SCAR-H exclusively until i unlocked the L85A2. After getting waxed by the ACE 23 in two successive rounds, concentrated on getting it and haven't looked back.

AFA attachments, finally came to the conclusion that for me, only put on some kind of foregrip and the flash hider. Barrel attachment tradeoffs just never seemed to work out for me. For others, obviously so.

Lasers help with your hip fire accuracy. Lights bring no benefit. You can turn both off/on if you want to be stealthy.

DMRS are pretty op - using them recently has been fun!

I have done some of my best work with the L85A2, I find this gun extremely easy to control the recoil and hip fire works well with the right attachments. Also, I have had good luck with the AKU.

I don't know if it is still this way, but beginning to fire before aiming down sights seems to throw off my accuracy. Try aiming first before firing vs hip fire into aiming. Not sure the accuracy changes. The right attachments are key as well, some players respond differently then others. I tried playing with the ACE 23 and didn't have as much success as other guns that are considered inferior. To each his own.

Before this latest patch, if you started hip firing before ADS'ing, you would be at your hip fire spread accuracy, instead of the max spread possible while ADS (ie. the HK416's 3.5 degree spread would be your ADS spread, vs the normal 0.2 degree spread). After this latest patch, you instead go to the maximum possible ADS spread, which is 1.5 degrees for all weapons. It's still bad, but it'll get the job done.

If you're referring to pulling the trigger just as you start aiming in, you're most likely missing your first few shots because you don't have an accurate frame of reference. On top of that, you've just increased your spread by loosing a bunch of bullets.

In other news, I agree that the DMRs are just stupid now. I always thought they were balanced before, but now it's just dumb, especially because they gave the DMRs a special chest hit multiplier that almost negates body armor and enables a 2 shot kill at point blank. I will always remain a fan of them, but I'll just have to stick with my QBZ's for the interim until they get balanced down again.

Unlock the RPK-74M. I was hitting people from at least 200m away with iron sights. In fact, when I put a Holo on it, I got worse and went back to iron sighting it.
It's VERY accurate
Also, the SG553 is very accurate if you tap fire it (it's also a hipfire death machine with a laser sight)
MP7 is also very accurate if you tap fire it (and ALSO a laser hipfire death machine)
