Make 'space bar' your key to that axis. And just hold.

Re: ok air whores
I've found that it is a balance between using your afterburner and the break to maintain an optimal speed.
I also use 2 different styles of control. I use my mouse and wasd for a much more accurate style of fighting. I usually use it when I'm ready to shoot something down, or trying to have more control in my flight. But I use arrow keys and wasd to do sharper and more constant turns. The only issue with that style is control and it is very hard for me to aim.
As for afterburner and brake, it is just a balance that you have to feel out for yourself. If you feel like you are going slow boost into the turn, and it you feel like going fast but turning slow then brake (Usually with s when using wasd, but sometimes I play with ctrl with my pinky finger I guess just because of habit). You should be thinking about inverse proportions, slow needs to speed up, fast needs to slow down. Once you master it you should be going back and forth between the two(afterburner and brake) constantly.Last edited by FragRaptor; 01-16-14 at 05:09 PM.

Re: ok air whores
Speed between 280 and 300 nothing more nothing less. This is the tightest turn radius

That's why a lot of folks use joysticks that have a dedicated throttle.
