Not liking these new settings at all. The health regen and enemy spot. Takes away from the strategy called surprise. Anywho, I'll be monitoring to see if the conquest server goes back to custom settings, or even hardcore. It just takes the fun out of it for me. I'll be on other servers till then.

But it also adds a component of strategy. it is almost just as important to spot enemies if they are out of your range. You never know when you have a buddy nearby that can pick them up. Remember, the advantages of spotting go both ways, so if you are not continuously looking for cover, you can easily be spotted and get picked up by other enemy team members.

I use the stealth perk - it makes for sneaky game play. Plus as heavy said it forces you into cover better. I usually prefer a silencer too and never use a scope that would give away my position.

Not trying to sound like TOO much of an ass... but I'm tired of people bitching because one of the hundreds of settings doesn't fit their wonderful fantasy of the perfect battlefield experience.
So hey... if you know of another "custom" settings server that meets that fantasy... go for it.

Any mode that greatly breaks weapons and requires them to be restricted is not a mode I would support. Plenty of things are imbalanced in hardcore mode. Things already blatantly OP in Normal Mode are even worse in Hardcore.
