I forget but wasn't the at4 the only thing that could lock on in bc2? I remember the Gustavs perfect arc, and the rpgs similar function. I may be forgetting how it played I admit but I thought the at4 was the only lock on anti-armor.

No the AT4 was wire guided. Had a red box where you were looking that marked where the rocket would hit. With practice you could learn to lead air vehicles and knock them out of the sky. It's a bit like the SRAW but was much easier to manuever.

Okay, there was a patch recently that removed its ability to damage nearby infantry, and reduced its damage from 34 to 30.
So let's recap:
Tank can be repaired from a safe location indefinitely without fear of being hit.
Tank driver gets a warning and can see an indicator where he's being locked from.
Javelin requires Line of Sight lock on the entire way.
Javelin user can be shot before rocket hits, and rocket evaporates.
I'll still use it because it auto-mobility kills no matter what, but the golden age of the Javelin was pretty short lived.Blah64 liked this post
