Thread: Oozish vid and oozish music

I actually use OBS to record. I have full control over the bitrate and quality, but I'm stuck with x264, which means I can't record without stressing the CPU.

Edit: I do have some footage of BF4 and various other games on Twitch though: Twitch

You can actually use dxtory in conjunction with OBS. There are tutorials on youtube.

I'm not serious enough about it to actually pay for the ability to record, it's mostly just a side project for me.

I want to do it but I just have no presence you know lol.

nVidia is serious about improving Shadowplay. They've been reaching out to the big Twitch and YouTubers for suggestions. The biggest feature missing is recording VOIP on a secondary track. It's supposedly coming.

Shadowplay rules.

The audio is a bit weird, though. I get everyone talking except me. Otherwise.....I use it every time I play. If something cool happens, I hit a hotkey, and it dumps the last 5 minutes of gameplay into a folder. No hit in FPS at all.

I think there'a fix for picking up your mic in the recording dex... I don't recall what it is offhand, but you should be able to Google it.
