Re: Server Crash
You don't know anything about my technical expertise. And yes it could've been a myriad of variables that caused the crash. Of course shit happens but when you're entire business IS an e-commerce platform, server performance=business performance.
The host's reboot time was impressive I'll give them that. But from my line of work if a platform fails, even for a few minutes, it warrants a call to the service provider to see what happened. Chances are it was a piece of bad code from the update or one of the clients tried to hack it or, or, or...
The point isn't to have a 100% uptime server, that's pretty much impossible. The point is to see where the breakdown occurred and to let the host know that we're paying attention.

We do have a Crash Report thread, which has been linked. It is monitored by all high admins. I think BF4 Mids monitor it as well since I recall Kanati writing a program to help with stuff. If the regular player uses that thread, then those admins can look at the crash and see if it's something worth making a fuss over. Trust me, the admins have made huge stinks before, and TPG has certainly switched providers when it was warranted.
enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
