I'm assuming you're being cynical. I remember back in the BC2 days they lost most of their dev tools after release so they couldn't really release a coherent set of mod tools. Then in BF3 they said it would be "too hard" for people to use any of the inhouse toolsets so they didn't even try to bother.

Need to stop calling it Battlefield and call it CS on steroids.
