    Some new maps won't load

    Now and then when one of the newer maps loads on the server my BF3 stops working and I get the "BF3 has stopped working close the program window" notice.

    Do I need to update BF3 or something?

    If so I thought that was automatic.

    don't think many still play bf3... but I would uninstall the game entirely and then reinstall it. Sounds like you might have some corrupt files.
