Re: BF 4 BF 2 and the land of Candy crush Saga
Wow its great to see so many familar names still here ! I've been outta the loop here due to some family problems with elderly parents but nw that I have some money coming in again I got a new rig. Problem is the video card is a POS and it won't run BF4. But it looks like maybe by the end of the week I can get an upgraded video card. From the little I've experienced of BF4 (being choppy as Hell ) the graphics look Amazing ! I was playing BF2 till they shut down the servers to keep from getting Twitches. But now I'm Really Jonesing for my BF ! Any recommendations going from an GeForce GT610 to a not crazy expensive upgrade that will run BF4 ?? Any info would be Appreciated ! Thanks

BF4 multiplayer is actually pretty CPU intensive, but some people get by on weaker CPUs. As for an inexpensive but effective GPU upgrade, either get an Nvidia GTX 660 or an AMD R9 270x. Both run about $200 on Newegg but the 270x will outperform the 660, so it comes down partially to manufacturer preference. Both cards will run the game just fine

I'm running just the straight 270 runs great for me and about 50 bucks cheaper. Newegg.com - Once You Know, You Newegg
cpu Runtime Error
although I will soon be upgrading to a k series.
