Whilst I understand the sentiment... If you are LOOKING for a CS or CoD type of game, what does it matter what the name of it is? The only reason to care that it has "Battlefield" on the box is for nostalgia's sake. If it's good at what it's attempting to accomplish it could be called "Poop City Heist Shoot-Em-Up" for all I care.

I played the original beta and didn't care for it. They need to stop slapping Battlefield on titles merely to get people to play a game. If I wanted to play CS or CoD I would buy those games and play them. As it is, I haven't played CS since Source and don't have any real reason to do so again.

My game time is precious and limited. I'm not going to waste it on something like this.

It's actually closer to a reskinned BF4 than CS or CoD in terms of overall mechanics but the game speed is closer to CS.
I actually like the speed better than normal BF. I haven't had many games where I was waiting for action.

I surprised myself on how much fun I had playing the beta but I have the attention span of a gnat, so it will be interesting to see if it can hold up long term.

I found the mechanics very different then BF4 and definitely feel the comparison to CS and even some TF2. I like the game modes so far and think it would be interesting to see how a more 'team player' approach would work in modes like heist. I think a lot more maps and continued DLC might be needed if they except HL to have long term appeal.

I miss rush/domination game modes on BF4 (playing pretty much exclusively TPG of course!), so it might be interesting to see something different.

Only time will tell.

The move away from military shooter to paramilitary police game is a little jarring. This game will not be successful -- GTA is out there; who can beat that?
