After installing the new SSD everything downloaded and played fine however this time around the game refuses to go to Full Screen Mode and glitches horrendously, it does work in borderless or windowed but not full screen and the performance in either is horrid.. I've tried full reinstalls, repair installs, reloading the driver, disabling origin in game and several other bits and pieces.. any ideas what I'm missing that's causing this?

Fullscreen Problem!! - Forums - Battlelog / Battlefield 4
This thread suggests that the Samsung Magician utility is the problem in BrokenApe's case. For DeputyFestus, the other posts in the thread suggest that there are other third party programs that mess up BF4 when it's fullscreened like TeamViewer. I would use the Test Range to see which program is causing the issue.
EDIT: No full screen without black screen since patch - Answer HQ
One other possible explanation is the DPI scaling from Windows, as explained in the thread above in the highlighted post. Seems BF4 doesn't play nice with DPI settings higher than "Normal"Last edited by Allane; 02-12-15 at 08:25 AM.

Hrmm, Magician eh? Allright anyone here with a Samsung drive know if it causes anything screwy to shut that off for a bit? I can't find anything in the documentation for Samsung magician that says either way that it has to be on constantly while the PC is on

*nods* Confirmed BF4 runs super smooth afterwards and no issues with it being turned off, I DID try and contact Samsung through their website to ask.. but once you select the product their website is glitched and won't let you select the topic.. *grin*
