Re: Winter Patch
Did you have the same problem(s) as me?
For my second bug where I can't rejoin, I've tried a ton of things, including repairing the game, but that was before patch. I'll give it a second try as it might get rid of the new crash bug. I just reinstalled battlelog plugin too that might help also.
As for disk cleanup, I don't think that's a valid solution for anything really as all it does is deleting windows unused garbage like temps files.
It might also be that time where I should give my PC a breath of fresh air and format the heck out of it. Its 4 years old now and I use it a lot. But that's quite a project, I would certainly need a full weekend. I think I'll wait for Windows 10 thought.
I'll desperately try if anything worked the bugs out later this week.

Re: Winter Patch
Antotabo,
2 patches ago I started getting "BF4 stopped running" errors frequently. It still continues once in awhile but before that patch it ran fine. I posted on BF4/EA forum and they never replied on my post to help and trying anything on my end was my only choice to resolve my BF4 problem.

Yeah I don't know whats wrong on my end I had no problems before patch except the occasional port bug but now I have a game I can't play. I thought I had it fixed by running in 64 bit it ran about two and a half rounds, in 32 bit I was lucky to get fifteen minutes.

Re: Winter Patch
The fact that it runs longer on 64 bits points toward a memory issue like memory leak, bad garbage collection or just plain too much memory usage. By running 64 bits, you get rid of the 2GB ceiling on per application memory and therefore the program can stretch longer so to speak.
My specs could be too low on RAM then. I have 8GB and I think it is mostly caped when running BF4.
Deputy, you seem to have the exact same issue as me. Whats your specs, expecially RAM wise.
And what are you all others specs?
Maybe we could correlate something useful here instead of whining silently.

Re: Winter Patch
I was crashing like crazy when I have the nvidia "optimized" settings... I reverted to the older graphic settings and it works fine, just still not enjoyable to play with the ping/hit detection issues. I watch warprosper play and he kills with 5 shots, it'll take me over 15... Used to be able to burst fire and kill people, now I'm lucky if the 3 round of 5 bullets kills.
