    (yay for nerfed shotguns)
    (yay for below radar)
    (yay for shitty SL being demoted if they dont put orders up)
    (yay for restating that they enabled server rental providers to rent high tickrate servers even thought they already did before the patch and as far as I know you still need to directly talk to your provider as ordering normally still doesn't give you the option)

    lots of yays in there.

    Specifically the shotguns and these

    "Marksman bonus removed
    Marksman distance based points bonus removed as its existence promotes a less objective play style Marksman bonus now gives a flat score of 25, shows distance within parenthesis"

    Conquest Flag capture score increased to 400 from 150
    Conquest Win ribbon score increased to 3000 from 1500

    there are some awesome changes...two that stood out to me

    Smoke grenades now block FLIR/IRNV
    you can now equip a launcher and an AA mine as engineer, before you had to choose one or the other making mines useless imho

    I like that change, a mine isn't really an offensive weapon anyhow, it's a passive item, not like a normal deployable

    yea but the aa mine now has instant lockon and the damage has been increased BUT you can only have 1 now instead of 2. Used in conjunction with a smaw you can stun a helicopter and then finish it off with a rocket....it should help on those map where we are getting pounded by aerial armor whores

    Objective Squad: Squad leader replacement

    Targeting inactive squad leaders, we integrated the Hardline solution with some tweaks to the setup topromote active squad leaders

    - Squad member requesting an order triggers a cooldown of 30s which if left unanswered swapsthe squad leader role to the requesting member -
    Attack orders now no longer automatically convert to defend orders on objectives after capture.

    -AND-


    Mobile Anti Air: Reduce effective range of MAA so it has to advance into the fray a bit more, whilestill maintaining its role as the counter to aircraft

    Hey vis, I found a way for you to get the SL position back without making a new squad every round. (Also, I found a way to steal your SL when you're not paying attention.)

    Taking it back. Some provider websites now allows higher tickrate servers to be rent. And by some I mean at least one, nfoservers. And by higher I mean barely (when it comes to 64 men servers). $15 more a month for a jump from 30 to 40hz. Eh.

    Oh, my dreams of 60hz, it's tumbling down.

    In other words....they couldn't get it stable.

    Bummer. An extra ten cycles isn't worth the upgrade. Hopefully they will keep working at it.
