Thank you Salty. I have the premium. Which means I can just download the DLC's as they come out. Nothing more to pay I assume. Well. Going to bed and letting this download finish. I appreciate your help Salty.

Sure thing. I don't have the origin subscription thing and I know there's a few TPGers that do that did the free 10 hour trial thing, please correct me if I'm wrong or if I missed something

My forum name is the same as my name on BF1, feel free to drop me a friend request if you don't mind grouping up with someone who's still pretty new to the game.

I'm fine with getting on comms and I enjoy having a leader to direct the squad.

Look forward to playing with you all!
Welcome Jake I will definitely send you a friend request. TPG is still on the ropes about hosting our own server when that is available but for now we are using our BF1 TeamSpeak channel to coordinate squading up. Glad you dropped in.

    Re: BF1

well I played about 16 hours worth over the weekend, made it to level 22. I pre-ordered the base game via Amazon for 25% off (47.99 + tax) and so far I am loving it. Enough so that I added the premium add on yesterday in game for 50 bucks. I love the different options of play. Don't care for deathmatch but Domination is a blast. Its like deathmatch but objective based instead of kill based. The operations mode is interesting but definitely time consuming. The choice of different story-lines is fun. I need to get on TS and actually get people to form a group prior to queuing for the game so that we can end up in the same squad. Joining on people has a strange bug that if their squad is full it leaves you in limbo and unable to join any squad. Then surprisingly if a spot opens in the person you joined on's squad it places you there automatically. We definitely need to use TPG TS to organize squads. Team play in this game makes all the difference.

    Re: BF1

It is interesting when alot of TPGers end up on the same server. Friday night we had at least half a server full of regs. Regs that are not on my friends llst but are probably on another regs list. Joining on each other. Saturday night it was similar but we ended up on the same team. Unfortunately for the other team that did not go well. It would be nice to get our own server, it would be much easier to get in games with friends. In its current form Origin is limiting friends and in our case a community of friends who have game together for years, to get together on the battlefield. Hopefully this changes.

I've been telling people to jump onto teamspeak so we can all get on the same server.

    Wassap

I haven't jumped on the hype train of BF1.

Can you give me info on the control setup. Is it similar to BF4? Can you adjust almost anything like BF4?

Like opaquing the color of the flags to almost invisible so it is easier to spot enemies behind or near the flag.

Changing the colors of icons of soldiers.. like green to orange for enemies and blue to purple for friendlies to easily distinguish friend from foe.

    Thanks

You need to get it. Ton of stuff can be adjusted. No Problems seeing anything that might be hidden.
