Re: BF1
It's okay.. It's not as fun not playing on a TPG server. Some squads are one man locked squads and I have never seen any admins monitoring any servers.
All the servers have the same name. Official Dice Server East or West. You got snipers not capping flags on some maps and the maps are getting old IMO playing the same 6 maps.
I'd play BF4 still but you know how those other servers are.. they suck ass.deputyfestus liked this post

There were a few times last weekend where we had about 12-15 TPGers all on one side on the same server and we were crushing the other team. Keeping a land-fortress up and running with 5 other teamplayers or flanking around and holding lone flags with a full squad is awesome. Most of the time though we usually get squads of about 4 or 5 TPGers together. The friends system kind of blows and it's buggy as hell. If your friends are all on a server together its kind of a pain to find them if they're in a full squad. If you try to join their party, it breaks the squad mechanics and you won't be able to join any squads at all. If you join their game without joining their party you're prone to being separated and whatnot. If there were community servers that people could save to their favorites and everyone knew which server to go to, it'd be way easier for TPGers to all group up together.
The maps are by far the best aspect of the game in my opinion - There's 2 meat-grinder maps (the teeny tiny desert one and the forest one) but even those are more enjoyable than Metro or Locker, as they are still open and have enough back routes to the other flags. The rest of the maps though are big and sprawling and some of the best maps in the franchise. I LOVE the maps with trench systems or fortifications as those are a blast to try and hold.

Re: BF1
The 2 meat grinder maps are Desert Metro (3 flags) and the other is Jungle Lockers (5 flags). The weapons are shit. All it is for every different weapon is an attachment difference that you can reconfigure in BF4 by swapping out any of the grips, nozzle, scopes, etc. And pressing 3 or 4 instead of scrolling with the middle mouse button to use the 2 other gadgets is also stupid.
Pressing R for reload is too close to the T key for gas mask is also stupid. Eh well there is nothing else to play.... I am waiting for the game Squad or Rising Storm 2: Vietnam. Those games looks more fun with strategy in mind.
Apple, Butters.. WTF! That's some gay ass shit. It's Alpha and Bravo. Butters is what you spread on a piece of toast!Last edited by GrandMasterGuess; 11-02-16 at 03:22 AM.

Re: BF1
The Flag names are pre nato, hence the time frame of the game. Not all guns are shit, You have to play around (or look it up) with different weapons until you find one that matches your style. I kick butt playing support with BAR storm variant. Below is what I have found seems to work best for me, your experience may vary.
Assault: Hellriegel 1915 Factory once you reach level 10, most of the assault weapons are decent especially the shotguns
Medic: Selbstlader M1916 Marksman
Support: BAR Storm or Trench
Scout: SMLE MKIII or Russian 1895 (Depending on Situation)
Vehicle Loadouts: Sawed Off or Frommer Stop Auto

No admins because they are all official dice servers. So you won't get any admins on there unless there happens to be EA or DICE devs on it.
Each server has a 5 digit number after it. You can search for that on the server browser. Also the main menu will show you the last server you played on that has open slots (I think)
The AOD servers are ok, lots of former TPG pubbers on there.
There is definitely not enough weapon variety. Like in BF4 at launch time you had a dozen different each of assault rifles, SMGs, LMGs, carbines, 8 different DMRs and a bunch of sniper rifles. Now all the all the different weapons are just mostly mods of each other. And in BF4 any class could use a carbine or DMR.
The TTK is slightly more improved from BF4 imo.Last edited by [CoFR]SirMoo; 11-02-16 at 08:05 PM.
