I re-pre-ordered a few days ago, after I had cancelled my first pre-order. Wish I was stronger, but there's fuck all to look forward to right now.

I have the base game pre-order special that amazon has for prime members $47.99..I will decide on premium addon later. I should get the game box with code to input into origin on Oct 21...yea I know..they have a special on a serial key they have to mail...go figure.

Nothing gets me hot and ready like WW1/WW2.

That's one hell of a single player trailer though. The campaign could still be bad but hopefully they've at least learned a few things from BF3/BF4/BFH in the campaign category. Bad Company 1 and Bad Company 2 had great campaigns so I know they, at least in the past, had competent single player developers.

It won't be long. EA/Dice have decided to kill the franchise by removing community-run servers (which, until now has been ALL of them....without communities like us propping up servers, there would have been ZERO servers). No admin control, no way to remove hackers and racist/disruptive idiots, no choice on server provider, no streaming anti-hack services, no reserved slots....nothing. We have joked about the BF series slowly becoming CoD, but now the CoD folks get to sit back and laugh at EA/Dice as they make the same awful mistake.

If we can't have a server that we can govern, I wouldn't pay $5 for it. It's been a fantastic ten year run in BF Land, but I am out.
