Thread: Battlefield Premium Friends

Holy freaking crap guys, I just read this and I can't believe it.

TL; DR - if you form a party with at least one other person who has the premium pass, then everyone in the party can play on the DLC maps. You won't get xp, premium weapons, or stat progress on those maps, but that's not a big deal.

While I'm a firm believer that all maps should be free to all players who own the game, this is at least a step in the right direction.

This is amazing, map packs breaking up the player base has always been my biggest problem with the Battlefield series, I cant stand paying for a bunch of map packs so I always stopped playing when my friends buy the maps

really hope this sticks for all newer entries in the series, guess I'll have to start playing again

Edit: This is only a test run for the Battlefest event btw, so get your playtime in while you can...not sure how long the event lasts
