Revive Network
The Revive Network team has however now posted the following statement:
We will get right to the point: Electronic Arts Inc.’ legal team has contacted us and nicely asked us to stop distributing and using their intellectual property. As diehard fans of the franchise, we will respect these stipulations.

EA's letter to them made me puke a little. Patronizing fucktards.
The funny thing is that EA claimed it was impossible for them to get BF2 back online after GameSpy shut down, but some nobodies did it in just a few months. So EA is either completely incompetent, or full of shit. My guess is both.
Fuck EA. Never again.millwalljames, maslott liked this post

Doesn't take much looking to see that BF1's daily active PC users are suffering from what I think they hoped they would be at this time. Battlefield players want the real battlefield experience, and they're getting it elsewhere because they can't get it from BF1. Wednesday night the active PC users dipped down to only 3,000 players. Didn't stay there for long, but PS4 and XBone numbers are soaring over PC numbers - shocking.
I still play BF1 from time to time and I enjoy it for what it is, but it's not the battlefield experience we deserve. I'll bet they think shutting down these projects will get people to come back to BF1 but I doubt it.millwalljames liked this post
