Howdy!
Howdy all,
It has been a long while. I wanted to stop by and say hello. It looks awful quiet on the boards. I'm going to take a peek around and see what's going on.
Best wishes,
Amador

Re: Howdy!
Howdy Merritt and Salty. Anyone still playing? I have't fired BF up in a little while. Hope to do that soon. Looks like CS and Arma are gone?

Hey Amador!
BF1 was kind of a disappointment. We tried multiple times to get a TPG server going but the way they rolled out the custom server program was awful and made it nearly impossible to prime. There's still a handful of us that play BF1 but we usually have to group up as a party and server-hop. Low server populations and paid DLC have thinned the herd though, you kind of have to just jump into whatever server is full and play that.
Counter Strike is still hopping but Valve pretty much killed off dedicated servers when they introduced matchmaking, a 5v5 rank-based match system. There really isn't a very good casual mode for people to play so if you want to play the real game, you pretty much have to do matchmaking. Most of us group up using Discord. That's kind of the main TPG hangout these days, though the Teamspeak server is still active as well and has alot of TPGers on most nights. I think we have a forum thread with a link to the discord server around here someplace. Shoot me a message if you can't find it and I'll get you a link.
Really though, Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is the hot game right now. Everyone is playing it. The ARMA crowd, Battlefield crowd, and Counter Strike crowd of TPGers are all playing that pretty much every night.
