Thread: BF5

Been a while since I have been here so forgive me if there is a thread on this I didn't see. I have been looking hard at BF5 and my youngest son is building me a machine to play it. Wanted to see if anyone here has played the beta or if anyone has an opinion. Right now I am looking forward to meeting you folks on the batlefield, especially those of you that are still here when I last played back in 2012. LOL

Hope I am not wrong but this BF5 looks great.

I am still here. Many of us hang out on Discord now. I am not getting BF5 unless it meets certain standards I have like community servers with us being able to enforce our rules, admin tools, base assets being attackble, etc.

Still here. Im tossed up on bf5 but i did the beta for ww3 i think its called and am waiting on hell let loose.

Both of the above. No community servers, not getting my money. I'm really excited for Hell Let Loose!

I read a pretty interesting write up on Seeking Alpha about EA and BF5 disappointing:

EA had to revise their forecast, and the author makes a pretty good case for BF5 being a big piece of that. It is surprising to see such steep discounting happening so fast. The game is already half off.
