    Well now I see the use for forums besides a place to bash other players/clans. Thanks for the help as I am having the same problem.

    I've had to uninstall and reinstall 2142 several times. This was one of those times. Sometimes....files just get crunched up and the game just won't load.

    Like they said.....install 2142. Run patches. install NS. Run patches.

    you have to install and patch in the order things came out.
