Re: Oh wake up!
I was on last night and got switched even though I was squaded up. Rolled with it and realized after a short period of time that my team sucked! I mean BAD sucked. I couldn't get anyone to use freakin common sense.
Leaving vehicles at our main base - which because the enemy was at least half full of regs got stolen over and over and over again! At one point there was 4 walkers total on map and who had them ALL - not us! 2 speeders - ours, but not us in them. And the friggin goliath - we were defending so the goliath was theirs anyways, but with two walkers guarding it.
hopped squads to give some hints about maybe keeping a walker or two for ourself and felt like I was lecturing on the theory of relativity to people just off the short bus.
My only consolation - Firedog and Turtle popped up just about everywhere I turned. I've never seen either one laying on the ground hollering for a medic so much.

Yeah Mustafah, I think we were on the same team. I went with my normal game plan of taking care of silos 3 and 5 on Sidi. My squad was doing its job, but all of a sudden, 5 gets much harder to defend.
On my next respawn, I throw down a vehicle sonar. Man, pucker factor = 10. Look up and see 2 Walkers, 2 tanks and an APC and I couldn't count the dismounts all converging from each side except the hill side. Beautifully orchestrated if it was intentional. Nicely done if it was happenstance.
I'm getting tired of having so many defenders on our titans. Its nice that we won't lose by having our reactor blown. But people can't seem to see the only marginally bigger picture that we are still going to lose.
But it feels like damn lemmings at times. I tell my squad to defend titan, we have 20 helpers and I can type all caps for other squads to go do something. THey will not listen, so I get my squad to get back on the ground, the lemmings follow and consoles fall rapidly.
I always feel more effective as a squad leader. But, I think its time to start "teaching" again but from the commander position. Have visiting clans cussing me out and questioning my manhood when I tell them they are the reason we lost. Actually, it was entertaining to watch them go apoplectic, but I would have rather had the win. Oh well.
