Go youtube it. My rought estimate would be about 40% faster, though. Meaning it now rapes anything (even Voss) in combat if you can aim. And one shot still kills in close combat.

THANK YOU someone else got it. Now I know it wasn't TOTALLY lost on the masses. And you're right. I didn't even think about the EMPs till you mentioned it. Who knew that in a universe far far away that this technology had already been perfected.

Sad but true guys, those of us who were actually alive in the 70's get it, those who weren't think it is all double bladed lightsabers and shitty acting, and have no clue.
