Thread: 1.41 patch help

I Installed a new clean copy of vista so everything got formatted.
I installed BF2 then downloaded the patch But each time i try to install the patch it fails ...what should i do?

When you say "fails" is the patch even loading at all or getting some of the way through and then "failing"? I have Vista as well and I noticed that the patch took a bit to even start after download and I thought that it had failed as well the first one or two times :P.

Make sure your Firewall and antivirus software is disabled and turn everything off you can and then Make sure you have the FULL PATCH of 1.41 and not the updated version.......

Ok i got the patch installed with out any errors. but now when i try to join any server the game crashes with out a error at loading

vista is your problem..it sucks for games.......reinstall xp2...vista not only is not good for games but it has countless security problems
