Thread: Field Dressings

Do these have to be held in your hand or dropped at your feet to stop bleeding?

I had a hard time telling which was working, as my vision was all swimmy and people were shooting at me etc. etc.

I searched the wiki and the sticky guide at the top of these forums but it doesn't tell how to use, just tells you to do it

Today was my first time on the mod, and besides some of the kits on the two sides looking extremely alike, making it difficult to tell friend from foe in time, I really liked it. I expect I'll be spending some time around here learning the ropes.

You drop them and walk over them. It is the same if you need to give them to a buddy.

I got a question about field dressings. Does the officers kit have unlimited field dressings or just a bunch of them?

Actually, technically I think you need to wait for them to stop moving and then just stand over them. How many you have depends on the kit you are using but nobody has an unlimited number AFAIK. Normally it is just 1 or 2. They are really just meant to be a stop gap measure until you can find a medic.

And ya, knowing friend from foe can be pretty tough sometimes. The mini-map is your friend.

I've used up to 4 with the Officers kit...? Maybe it was just glitched or something, well it kept me alive.

I think the officers kit has 3...... You might get more if you are close to a supply drop....or a rally point.
