Actually, I heard that close, if not all, of all 360's will RRoD eventually (If challenged I will find the reference). Which is the main reason Microsoft extended the warranty to three years. Every single one of my friends has had their 360's RRoD, including myself, some of them multiple times. But that in itself is why I choose 360 over PC, it's what the majority of my friends use =]

I got the red ring of death the first week I got the xbox 360, because I accidently turned the switch of my power-bar to "OFF" while trying to plug in my blazing TV + xbox speakers while running 250 fps 3000x1000 whatever on my 80' plasma HDTV flatscreen. Wayyyy better than a PC.

But I turned off the xbox, turned on the power bar and turned on the xbox. It was fixed.
Yay me.

1 got one RROD, and my new console has never gotten it. I hear all PCs get the blue screen of death eventually.
