    Jeeps Prefered Squad Mates

Ok, since I have been playing on this server I have met some very interesting squad mates. Some really really great fun to play with players and some.......well......anyway *cough*.

I realize that only a few people that post here end up in my squad so I am posting this for them and any who may come along. Because frankly I get sick of explaining it over and over.

1-I hate booting people so your friend can join the squad, so please don't ask me.

2- I hate pilots in my squad, it takes away from the meat we can throw at a flag. So don't join my squad if all you want to do is wait in line for a plane the whole game. This goes for chopper pilots too.

3- When I issue a new order it is usually because I have died and had to respawn farther away. By all means continue to carry out the first order until you have it or die. Do not feel you have to drop everything.

4- Try to spawn on me or close to the squad. Don't spawn 4 flags away and then tell me what you see.

5- If you see something, use the "in game spot" to spot it. Don't yell it over the mic. Remember, only you see what is on your screen. Besides, the rest of us look like idiots standing there trying to look around for it.

6- Like to drive tanks? Great, go join the missile magnet squad. The only time I like my squad in slow moving armor is when we are fighting close to it. Don't jump in it and expect to drive it from flag to flag when there are planes on the map. You only get all of us killed.

7- Hate to walk? Not the squad you want to join. If the objective is not far away, we will walk there. When we are not walking, I prefer buggies. Most of you will find you will get more kills if you just take the time to walk to a flag. Also it allows us to defend against incoming enemies.

8- I do not like laying in a hole just so you can spawn on me. I do it sometimes, when it is very important. But mostly my butt is in the front.

9- The only time I mark targets on the map is when I am given it by the commander or I feel the squad is so spread out we need a rally point. Otherwise I issue all orders via mic.

10- I will boot people who auto punish other squad members. Also people who yell and scream in their mics.

Again, I would like to point out I do not want to sound like a nanny. I just hope this clarifies some things for a few of you. This way I can do less explaining and we can all do more killing.

People often ask me "Jeep, what kit you want?" My answer is simple, "What kit can you kill the most of them with?".

    Thanks
    Jeep

Wow, thats damn close to what I'd put down. I don't mind having a pilot in the air though, its nice to have a direct call in for a bombing run rather than wait and hope the commander gets it through to the pilots.

Nice list though... I'd join your squad if it were ever open.

i always enjoy squading up with you jeep. i know you are a ground pounder and always direct with your orders. i do my best to keep up with you! sometimes i look around and you are already yards ahead of me running to the next flag. i usually play medic to keep your ass alive when you go diving over a wall to jump on a claymore to take one for the team! i think this post was a great idea and i will keep all of this in mind next time i squad up with you.

    Re: Jeeps Prefered Squad Mates

I think I shot through him once tonight myself.

The shame of it is the enemy killed me first.

I think that after 2 or so hours, I need to stop before I kill my whole team....

    pitiful

    Re: Jeeps Prefered Squad Mates

Jeep in my Entire carear on Bf2 Ive never seen you have to boot a man. But I think the main people this is directed at are not regulars who don't even come to these forums :P

Anyways that list looks pretty good and is about perfect. My Only Anti Against it is I believe the squad leader is a spawn point and can save your squad a lot of walking. Of course I pick medic (So I just revive dead teammates) and don't have an Semi Auto Shotgun running over 2-3 guys at a time so what can I say.

Anyways, Great list for a Great squad leader

    Re: Jeeps Prefered Squad Mates

After tonight I realized why I like squadding with jeep so much, those shotgun blasts to the face sure hurt. I think my k:d ratio with him was 2:12 or something. It is more fun playing on your side, but then I guess ranger10 woulda been lighting me up instead of leading my squad. Great games tonight everyone.

Jeep, great post. I really enjoy squadding up with you. And I remember you once telling me after I asked what kit to come back as your reply was: "Whatever you can kill the most of them with". You probably get tired of saying that. I was able to sneak a few rounds in last night and would have joined you on Highway Tamps, but I jumped on Mabell's squad because I haven't had the chance to do that yet.
I like the way you lead and the methods that you use. It's pretty impressive the devastation six guys on foot can cause. And on many occasions while on your squad and I've been killed and I look to see if I can still spawn on green, you're still alive, at the objective, and on the front line.
See you on the battlefield, and hopefully not in your crosshairs.

I can go in the lobby... No servers appear.

Er, hello, I am Lucius Gin, I will go to The Lobby later, but I have some questions to do.

Well, I am just starting to play L4D, I find it a really cool game, even if it makes some lag with which I cant play so well.

For some reason, I had a connection problem before, something like "Connection with session lost", I couldnt go into the lobbies, but that has been fixed. (I dont know if it was because I deleted the Appid file, or because I added an Engine.dll file from a Torrent webpage to the Bin folder).

Now, the problem is that when I try to connect online (co-op, versus, local, dedicated, etc.) I just can`t find servers and I appear alone as the "lobby boss" or something.

I am having some problems opening the console, but that will be fixed.

I would really want to know how to fix this and enjoy this game at it`s full potential, thanks.

PD: A friend gave it to me as a gift, but he didn`t know if it was a fake or not, because some aunt gave it to him and didn`t tell him anything... May this have something to do?

Pd of the PD: I am writing from my laptop so I cant post the DXdiag, I am sorry, tell me if you need it. FIXED

    Edit:
