    Re: Unbalanced Teams

I was playing the day/night that Mr.Elbarfo's original post was posted. I actually played 9 hours that day from Noon till about 9 pm EST. I remember when you joined my squad Elbarfo because I enjoy having you in my squad.

The truth about that day ( I should point out I did not switch sides all day) was the other team was loosing very badly when I signed on. At that point there were not many regulars on. As mid afternoon came and went the rounds were extremely close. I saw another post here that commented on how close they were.

In the evening things turned the opposite way. Most of the great flyer's were on one team racking up points. As it turned out, you were in my squad a few times at this point along with some other known players, all good. We were getting out asses whooped. But I notice that our squad was doing it's job, and that's all we can do. I think we not only had top squad, as far as the numbers went, but also the only reason the other squads had places to spawn in at.

To me it does get frustrating as well when it gets lopsided for 12+ rounds in a row. But I can also see the small victories in my squad if we stick to the game plan that I as a squad leader issue.

    Jeep,

I couldn't agree more. Most, not all, of the time I find that if my team is getting run because most people are lone wolfing even if thay are in a squad those players don't stick around long. Once they start leaving the teams usually start balancing out. I have lost several in a row, and I have won several in a row before. When I used to switch teams it seemed like all the losing players did the same or left, so I brought the bad karma with me. Now I usually just tough it out and do the best I can with the squad I am in or leading.

That is the ticket right there. Either join up with a known, good SL or start one your own and lead. If enough squads are doing there job and a good commander is directing, then it shouldn't matter who the heck is on the other team or how good the fly boys are. Remember the basic tactics. Cap a flag, disperse out around the flag to avoid arty strikes, hold it long enough for other teams to spawn in and then hit the next objective or defend that flag tooth and nail if it is key flag on the map. If I am SL'ing and my team is doing their job like I ask them, that is all the victory I need.

    Bad witch spawn.

I have only seen this twice, but it's annoyed the hell out of me both times.

In No Mercy 3, sometimes the witch spawns right below the wrong entrance to the sewer - the one that the survivors never go in or go near - while for the other team, it spawns in a slightly different place, like in the stairwell or hallway, where they are forced to disturb her.

Happily, I haven't seen any other shitty witch spawns since that patch was released awhile ago.

It's all random, that's the way the game was programmed.

Yeah, but the Witch is supposed to spawn directly on the escape route, and it doesn't in that one situation.

We found a witch in one game as the tank spawned. It would have been okay if our teammate did not run into the witch and then get vomited on.

We had a witch at the top of the bridge in BH3? the one you knock down with the train... got to the top then turned around to help somone who had been pounced... teamate says wholly shit there is a witch up here and poof had to help him to...

After the patch on the Xbox I believe the Witch and Tank spawn in exact same spots for both teams....
