    Gamepad support

So i just bought a nice $35 gamepad, brand new, shiny,(its basicly a xbox controller),

and yea, i went to test it out in L4D, and i find that i cant seem to get it to make my character look around, it seems that looking up, down, and side to side are still mapped to my mouse, and theres nothing under the controles menu that will change that.

I can get it to look up and down useing the "look side to side" controles that would useually be mapped to halo, otherwise my character seems to have a neck brace that wont let his head turn.

If you look under the controles menu there is nothing labled "look up", "look down", "look right" or "look left", and thats basicly what i need to get this to work.

Thanks in advance for replies, ill be setting this to email me right away with any responses.

I had basically the same problem when I tried to use my joystick in HL2, I could not get all the controls to work. I would be interested in what the solution is.

I Googled the problem and I found a post regarding a Logitech Rumblepad and the guy said this:

"Hey just Download LGS501.exe .(Search for it in Google) and install it.This is Mainly For Win Vista(Even though it will Work 100% on XP) ."

I don't know anything about this file, so use at your own risk.
