No servers
Hey all,
When I first got left 4 dead it seemed that I had the least lag/crashes and most playability. Over time, I've noticed a drastic decline in people to play with and servers to play on.
This evening, I learned the "open console command" and that list is completely empty.
I've joined the left 4 dead steam group and my list of servers went from 0-3 to about 11-16. So, that did help, however there is rarely anyone on those servers that I can see.
Am I missing something here? I'm getting lonely playing with bots

I found that if I "openserverbrowser", I see nothing under the Internet tab, but a whole bunch of servers under the Custom tab. Supposedly the Custom servers are running non-standards settings, but I couldn't tell what might be different about them. I did try joining one of them and was successful.
Do you show anything under any of the tabs?
You might also try exiting Steam, and renaming the "clientregistry.blob" file, then restarting Steam and see if that helps.

If you are talking about not seeing servers for L4D1, I just checked and found over 300 servers under the Internet tab.
Try exiting out of Steam, deleting the file called ClientRegistry.Blob, located in your Steam folder, restart Steam and let it recreate itself and check again.
Do you have the Steam ports opened on your router, if you have one?*********************************
