Oh I'm sorry your right. That was what I remember it being on CS:S. I assumed it worked for all Valve games.
After searching the web it appears there really isn't any simple command. But here are some others I found related to crosshair.
cl_crosshair_alpha : This will mod the crosshair's transparency. 0 = Invisible 255 = Full
cl_crosshair_red : 0 - 255
cl_crosshair_green : 0 - 255
cl_crosshair_blue : 0 - 255
This is your standard RGB scheme. "255 115 0" would give you something orange'ish.
cl_crosshair_dynamic : 1 - 0
This will make your crosshair stop matching with your weapon's average accuracy.
cl_crosshair_thickness : 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5
cl_crosshair_alpha "99"
cl_crosshair_blue "0"
cl_crosshair_dynamic "0"
cl_crosshair_green "182"
cl_crosshair_red "0"
cl_crosshair_thickness "3"[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

cl_crosshair_dynamic 0

this is what I use, it has it's ups and downs though
The crosshairs become much smaller and bearable, however they also stop adjusting to your accuracy. It's something I've used almost from day one, so I'm used to it by now, and you can too. It's just a matter of learning to estimate your spread.
